Boundary Survey – A survey to establish property lines for a parcel of land as described in a deed.  This consists of researching deeds and surveys of record, searching for existing survey monuments, conducting a precise field survey, performing office computations, and placing of permanent survey markers at the location of the property corners.  A plat (map) is then produced from the field work and a legal description is written for the parcel. An attorney will use this description to prepare the new deed.

Sub-divisions – Surveying land into multiple parcels that may involve easements or road dedication.  May also involve revision/reshaping of existing subdivision parcels.

Topographical Survey – A field survey to show the physical features on a parcel of land with an established elevation.  These features might include above ground and underground improvements, easements, boundary lines, and natural features like streams or woods.  A digital map is created for the use of an architect or engineer in the design process.

ALTA/ACSM Surveys – A survey prepared to a set of minimum standards established by the American Land Title Association and the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping (ALTA/ACSM).  A client may also request that additional items be located on the project from a table provided by ALTA/ACSM. A plat conforming to the ALTA/ACSM standards (digital and/or paper) is then provided to the client.

Oil & Gas Surveys – We stake oil and gas wells and are members of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA).

Construction Staking – Working with engineers and contractors to physically place designed improvements in the proper location at the construction site.

FEMA Flood Surveys – A survey to determine elevation with relationship to buildings or a parcel of land.  This information is then submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in the form of an Elevation Certificate of Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA).  FEMA determines the final status of each project.
